Re: "Launching HTC Sense..."
are you by any chance using the stock 6.5 rom or any 21889 rom by any chance? when i ran that build i had a similar problem to this only that sometimes the device would freeze on that dialog requiring another soft reset or 2 to get back going again. having gotten fed up with this and the memory leak in 6.5 and 6.5.x i decided to goto a 6.1 rom, havent had the problem since, i guess the files for sense end up getting corrupted and decide to freeze the device

Re: "Launching HTC Sense..."
Just stock 6.5. But I've had it since the day 6.5 was officially relased... now recently this morning has it been a problem. Again... I've added nothing new... I've soft reset at least 7 times today. I've taken out the battery, etc. Just keeps doing it.

Re: "Launching HTC Sense..."
just to be sure, when you say nothing new, that includes replacing graphics by modifying manila files right? no new clock for example?
hate to say it but prolly you should backup and hard reset. if it keeps doing it you'll know it's hardware related and it's time to call insurance. |

Re: "Launching HTC Sense..."
it has nothing to do with hardware. I had this same problem on the 21889 roms, since I downgraded to a 6.1 rom I haven't experienced that or anything similar so I'd recommend u try a 6.1 rom or a 219xx rom

Re: "Launching HTC Sense..."
Thanks for the recommendation... but I've had 6.5 for the longest time... hard to believe now it's an issue.

Re: "Launching HTC Sense..."
I started having the similar issue after a month on the stock 6.5, so try a 6.1 rom.

Re: "Launching HTC Sense..."
Mine wasn't that bad, but I've been having major issues with what I'm guessing is the Twitter tab. Sense was restarting on my every few minutes today. Found the Twitter data and deleted it and the problem seemed to stop. Look in \Temp\ and that is where the data should be stored for the Twitter tab. I deleted everything and it helped out. Not sure how it stores the tweets, but it could be that there are to many for Sense to handle and it's not smart enough to just delete the old tweets from the cache rather than trying to load them every time.
