Hmmm.. i tether ALLL day.. i have a TP1 hooked up in the bedroom running BitComet non stop.. itll go for days unless i try to many files at once..

My TP2 i use WIFI and ICS(usb) and ive never had an issue with usb tethering at all.. My Tp2 only gets hot if its laying down on certain surfaces.. ie if i take my laptop on my bed and just lay the tethering Tp2 on the bed/blanket, it stops charging quick.. I just leave the keyboard open though and lean it against something so its not laying flat..

i use 30GBs+ worth of tetheirng a month too, so Id definitely be honest with you if i thought my TP2 was overheating and not charging right while tethering
