hmm I kind of expect the HX1 to have less power. this will allow longer battery run - too loud that far into the ear can start to get liability dangerous.

With that much isolation loudness should not be too much of a problem for me. my primary issue has not been so much can I hear them but them hearing me (geo metro no air so its rather loud :-)

Got the HX1 (and lost is already still looking for it) for the one your talking to ITS GREAT very clear.

alas its not very "LOUD" for you. it sounds good just not loud. Grrrr still hunting.

ACTUALLY I have the HX1 now and got a CUSTOM EAR GEL from AVERYSOUND.COM and now its TOO LOUD! its great.. Im also getting a custom EAR GEL for my SOUND ID 300 ... the custom GEL makes the ear piece so much better!!!

sounds good but I just can't see paying $80 for an eargel I will probable lose within a month. Ouch :-)
