free calling ?

my cell shut off today and i have GV but it will not let me call anyone with it cuz my cell is shut off GV will let me txt are they any other program out there for free calling ?

I dont how you think your going to get free calling withOut a data, 3G, or wifi connection though... if it were that easy, None of us would be paying cell phone carriers

Ok, here's HOW this COULD be done...

If you have a Gizmo5 account (can't sign up for one at the moment) you can send your GV calls to that number...

Gizmo5 allows you to send to Skype.

So essentially someone could call your GV number, which will bounce to Gizmo5, and Gizmo5 would bounce to Skype.

That takes care of incoming. As far as outgoing goes, you'd need to dial on the GV website, and have it ring back to your Gizmo5... then the same process.

VERY CLUNKY but it CAN be done.

i have a sipgate account and GV but when u call the # it wont call the phone only the pc and when i try to make out going calls us cellualr comes up saying account suspend

Do you have Gizmo5?

I just tested... GV forwarded to Gizmo5, and Fring configured for Gizmo = free calls.

Fring let me dial out directly to my Gizmo5, and Gizmo did the rest, sending to my GV account.
