Massive memory leak any info??

So i recently upgraded from a tp2 to a droid and couldnt be happier. I gave my girl my old tp2 and of course the problems started. It has energy rom and had been great the entire time i had it but when i gave it to her i did a hard reset first and now out of no where with nothing running shes at 90% memory in task manager and getting out of memory errors in opera all the time. The only temp fix is a soft reset but it quickly goes back up without doing anything on the phone.

Like i said before this is not something i ever had to deal with and it only started with the latest hard reset. I can flash back to stock rom but i was curious if there was something else i could do to fix it any help would be great thanks in advance.
