Voicemail speed dial issue

Have a strange issue.. I am on Mightyrom 6/20 and when I press and hold the "1" key it is supposed to dial my voicemail. It does not. I checked to make usre I had my # entered under voicemail in options and I do but it does not work. I can create a new speed dial (#2) and set it to my voicemail and it dials when I hold #2 but #1 doesnt work. How do I resolve??

Re: Voicemail speed dial issue

hit talk>menu>speed dial>erase #1 and re do it set to #1 and see how that goes... these arent old school phones were they locked the 1 key for VM only.. delete it, set it back up... thats what id try

Wish it was that easy,,, When I do that there is NO #1 speed dial.. and If I try to create a new speed dial it starts with #2

Re: Voicemail speed dial issue

why is everyones answer a hard reset.. a hard reset does not always fix everything.. MAYBE something is different in MIGHTYROM.. please before you say hard reset please think..... I have done hard resets in the past only to find out I wasted my time re-loading everything because the issue wasnt fixed!

Re: Voicemail speed dial issue

look dude... its the answer to everything, because it factory defaults everything genius! ie FIXES your isssues - because nothing YOUVE installed has created a bug, or issue, etc!!!!!

live without the #1 speed dial being your voicemail then... you obviously dont back your phone up well enough or youd laugh in the face of a hard reset because it takes 5mins to set your phone back up...

sure, MIGHTYs ROM is different.. as in it wont let you program the #1 key... thats how its different.. satisfied now??? its doesnt have the feature to edit that one for whatever reason.. problem solved man..

so...

1) use a different speed dial #, other than 1, for your voicemail
2) try a hard reset and see if it comes back - which you dont seem willing to do
3) flash a different ROM if your so hell bent on having #1 for voicemail

CHRIST! i try to help you out and your nice and ungrateful about it... help yourself then douchbag..

FAIL!
