BWAH got it. That first link you gave me had the answer, just change the HKEY Local Machine/Hardware/Devicemap/Kebd/SlideWakeUp to 1. Awesome! Thanks again buddy!

and probably a few more things not coming to mind.. making it unlock when you slide it open = not a good feature to have IMO

I showed our 2 yr old how to unlock my wife's droid... Yeah, she was real happy about that one.
