SMS To a file
Hello,
I have a Sprint TP2. Is there a way to copy the sms's on my phone to an excel or csv file?, If yes, then can someone please elaborate the process. Will really appreciate the help. Cheers.... |
Re: SMS To a file
Not sure about exporting to an Excel file, are you just trying to back them up?

Re: SMS To a file
Eh, use PIM backup. With that, "back up" your txt msgs only, and don't do a compressed format.
Then, view the file and it'll be in a CSV format. That isn't that friendly, but once you filter out some things it'll be easily usable. I used that for court proceedings when I had to provide evidence! It has date/time stamp with a lot of other things that might be useful to you |

Re: SMS To a file
Another option would be PowerSms by..Trinket Software. Just looked and the export SMS function exports to an Excel (.csv) file. I wont be at a laptop for awhile but pm me for more info and the "trial" software.

Re: SMS To a file
I have been using Efficasoft Mobile Express - exports sms to a text file; but not sure if format is conducive to importing into excel for analysis.
It's a free download - here is link to the site - http://www.efficasoft.com/mobileexpress/index.htm |
