RAM usage Too high after CHT

First the basics

1. Sprint TP2 6.5
2. ROM - Mighty ROM
3. CHT 1.8.5 and CHT Editor 1.8.5

My Memeory usage has gone upto 71%, my sense is not very fluid and has a log when I drag and move.

Before CHT the memory was at 58-59%. Is there a way to optimize that?

Will really appreciate any advice.

Welcome to the wonderful world of CHT. Even if you turn off all the extra Levels (Extra Space, Quick Links Grid, Extra Space) or limit the ones you are going to enable, it still does not seem to reduce the memory allocation significantly. Just having the app overlay on Sense is enough to gobble up a lot of available RAM. I am not trying to shill for any particular ROM, but VIN's Pluto ROM runs fairly smooth with CHT enabled, and it does retain a decent amount of memory. Never like mighty's stuff...

What about them. I do have Mighty ROM already.

This was the reason I stopped using Cookie. IMHO, it's a worthless mod, and not needed. I was tired of the "out of memory" messages in Opera, and the need to reset often.

I am running MightyROM Full Force and runs just fine for me.

These are what I am using for settings.....................

I do have the Stocks tab and the album tab turned off, and I have not added any other tabs.

It update Weather every 30 mins. and I have the animations turned off.

I have 2 e-mail account 1 is setup on exchange and peak time's are set for every day from
7am to 11pm and one checks every 2 hours.

Twitter updates every 15 mins and Facebook every 2 hours.

Almost Never have any more than 200 texts on my phone, as I archive them when it hits that point.

My Inbox stay pretty lean as I move stuff to folders pretty regularly.

I stopped using cleanRAM because for some reason it was causing issue's for me.

If its running slow share what your settings are and what programs you are running with it.

It does use a little more ram than before. But to say "its a worthless mod" is just crazy.

I ended up removing it. I couldn't find anything. I even left out many options, like more than one frame of quicklinks. I had a single page of quicklinks, no background or text, no page indicator, and simple animation enabled. I was still getting into the 80's on mem usage.
