Re: How can I use GV using wifi!
Not that I am aware of...even if you use the web interface or iDialer, it still just initiated GV to call you then connect the call. It might work if you dual boot into Android and use the GV app there, I've never tried it but it's worth a shot.

Re: How can I use GV using wifi!
Thanks guys!
Appreciate ur help.... but do u agree... that someone needs to come up w/ an app that would allow that.... for eg. I can place calls from web...(using gizmo or gv's softphones).... so something along those lines would be awesome huh.... Cheers! Thanks again! |

Re: How can I use GV using wifi!
pretty sure there is native support for it, but the carriers squelched it for far too long..
a quick search lead me here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...light=sip+voip

Re: How can I use GV using wifi!
ive had a GV number for a long time, rarely ever actually used it though..
i thought the whole point of GV was to NOT use minutes?? in the begining remember we could set it up to be free incoming and outgoing minutes, as far as our carriers were concerned, atleast thats how i remembered it.. guess i never actually tested the theory though by using it, then going to usage and checking for increase.. |
