Best Rom????

Hi,

I just got my first HTC phone, I work with computers all day but I must confess that I'm a newbie with phones.

My Sprint HTC TP2 is unlock and I will like to install the best rom available, but there are so many out there that I will like to know your opinion.

I've been using Energyrom for a month or two now, and personally it's my favorite. Mightyrom was a close 2nd for me though.

The best ROM is the one that works best for you... I know cryptic.
But I'm still using the stock 6.5 from Sprint. I have no problems with it.
I run Clear Temp and Clean RAM often and schedule a restart every night at the end of my backup.
I'm good.

I work with computers all day too and stuck with the Sprint ROM to avoid having to tweek all day long... if I just had more time to experiment... I hear the most about MightyROM...

I've tried all these above roms mentioned. I also tried Spb mobile shell, its 15 bucks to. I hated it...then i tried Formulas Spb Mobile Sense, found here. It's amazing, I love it. Soooo much customization options. And Formulas don't look generic like the standard spb mobile shell. Also i run clear temp and clean ram often.

im gonna throw in my vote for NRG rom as well. the old cliché is to try them all and stick with what works best for you but honestly i tried nrg rom and stopped right there. never had any major problems with it and hes his rom pretty up to date. my first bit of advice to is once you do find yourself a good rom, make sure you find yourself a good backup and restore program because you might find your self flashing often because all the chefs here like to release updates as often as possible and you dont want to have to reprogram your phone with every flash

Agreed, I'm on Mr.X Rom and I really like it.

+1 for the having to tweak all day long. Only had this phone for about 5 days and I've spent mannnny hours with it/messing with it.

BTW, OP...if you plan on trying out these different ROMs (or even if you stick with one) learn SASHIMI. Totally worth your time.

I'm still learning..but it's nice. Will auto install your CABs, Email settings, WiFi settings, and even licensing for purchased programs.
