Need Tether Help

Ok so I've searched and searched and searched...of course I've come up on something. But they're a tad big outdated, and I couldn't find anything newer. I did read a post saying that Telus and Verizon users had been getting charged, so I've been somewhat hesitant to try out anything from the older post.

I'm on Verizon TP2 using 6.1 stock with sense 2.1 if it matters. I don't have the disc that came with the phone, so if somebody could point me in the right direction for the drivers need...that would also be a huge help.
