I would be brave enough to do that if I had a step by step instructions for my TP2.

Wow great price.. makes it worth doing the mod.

How clean did the EVO mods look?

Somethings to consider:
- The Pre's plastic back and charger each have (4?) magnets to ensure centered contact. They're strong enough to hold a Pre in a moving car, but a TP2 might be too heavy.
- Not sure if there is additional circuitry or if the coil gets coupled directly to the battery. the TP2 battery has 4 contacts, I think the Touchstone cover has 2. You may have to attach something to the usb port..
- The VZ TP2 extended battery cover is thick enough to house a coil and magnets, but the center part might be metal which could prevent the charge unless you put the coil outside.

Good luck and keep us informed if you do it!!

Thats an easy modification to do!
I ordered 3x of those charger combos
to mess with. 2x go in a couple of my
high-end flashlights, And the 3rd is for
my lovely TP2 :D

I can offer this as a mod for anyone once
i get mine up and going. The whole thing
should look stock. Although i might have
to clearance the inside portion of the back
cover inorder to account for the ac-dc
conversion circuit that the receiving end has.

here are the lights i want to put them in.
I allready offer craploads of options anyways...
Why not more??

Re: anyone try a Touchstone mod on a TP2?

just received my touchstone and backing for pixie. ripped it apart and placed it on my tp2 backing. fits right in...snug and tight. doesnt stick out one bit. since the tp2 is a bit heavier, it doesnt stick to ts like a pre. it will snap in but, holding it ever so slightly vertical...starts to slip off. maybe stronger magnets? or adding more magnets? perhaps taking off the orange part of my back cover (sprint), so the magnets are closer to the ts

this weekend, ill open up my phone and look for a positive point to tap the wire for the coil.
