htc auto backlight cab?

I dont know if there is such thing but i need the htc autobacklight cab. I'm runninCaulkins stripped Android Rom 6.5 and 6.1, and Lumos wont work because the sensors arent "activated" i think i need the autobacklight feature to enable sensors. Did a regedit and reverts back to 0 after reset. So no go there. Any and all help is appreciated. Also my timezone, and or time gets messed up after soft reseting from android, not syncing to server i guess, main problem is proximity/light sensors... thanks!
