Re: leaving the contry for a few weeks, need help on any tips how to use the phone.
Im heading out of the country too, and am wondering how you guys are getting these "$/day" option and "international data" plans?? i have been in contact with sprint via chat and phone, and all they tell me it's .016 cents/KB....no mention of any data "plans" while overseas. guess I'll try contacting them again.

Stop the hassle and just buy a local simcard at the city you're at, the Sprint TP2 is factory unlocked for international GSM carriers, you get local data and calling rates, beats any international plan they might have.

Same of the above. They charged $40 per month (it can be prorated close to $2 per day for data plan). In addition what helps is to have google voice so you don't have to check your voice mail with skype but can read it or hear it over your email message. I set it up like this and it helps rather than checking all missed calls. Please thanks if you like the response :) |
