ATT is actually a GSM phone. while we have a lot of great developers here. this site is mostly for CDMA like sprint and verizon. for GSM i would suggest xda-developers.org... either way welcome and from everyone here, please, make yourself at home. you will not be disappointed with all the great info you find here and/or the people you will meet

+1 to what ridleyj said.
just wanted to give you the correct website. it's .com, not .org.

Re: Custom Roms?

some roms arent made specifically for certain carriers. just for the phone type.. cdma or gsm. i dont understand what you mean by clean. all roms are built differently and they just depend on your personal tastes. for exampl, im partial to NRG rom if you wanna try it out. but the only way to know what suits is to try them all and stick with what you like.

best thing you can do is buy a bottle of crown and start reading.

if you go to the link i gave you, you'll see a thread for noobs that is very helpful. you can also look on youtube and see guides on how to unlock and flash roms to your phone. you got to read and read and read some more.

thats the last you should do, nobody likes a quitter!!! lol. no, seriously though, we were all once n00bs (beginners) too. if you have any questions we try our best to answer them but please be as specific as possible. i must warn that there a few folks that like to run their mouth but dont let them scare you off. first rule of thumb around here, at least as far as im concerned, just have fun.

Nah don't give up! Once you star reading about it this stuff really isn't that hard! seriously if I can do it...lol! I use energys roms and really like them. He has all different kinds to try out and he has one called his Reference Rom that you might want to start with.

That is the link to Energys roms. But I would first read the link suggested about first time flashing and like people have said do not be afraid to ask questions :)
