CDMA Sprint TP2 on Boost Mobile
Hi all... I just activated my Sprint Touch Pro 2 with Boost Mobile. All I had to do was call Boost Mobile and say that my phone is defective and I have another phone that would like to use; They asked me what phone I had and I said it was a "C290". Then they asked for the ESN# and they walked me thru the steps to activate it. It worked right away... The only problem I have is with the internet... I need to configure the internet settings to work with Boost Mobile. I really need help with that. If anyone has any idea how to get it working please let me know...

Re: CDMA Sprint TP2 on Boost Mobile
Are you on the stock rom or a custom rom? If you're using the stock rom, it should work right off the bat...for me anyways, it did.
If you're flashing a custom rom, and want to be able to send MMS messages, you'll need to find the correct Arcsoft cab or one that's tweaked to allow you to send MMS. Good luck! |

Re: CDMA Sprint TP2 on Boost Mobile
All you need to do is install the Sprint Profile Updater and run (PRL update - Firmware Update and Profile Update) That should take care of that...

Re: CDMA Sprint TP2 on Boost Mobile
Well, first off you need a Boost Mobile branded CDMA phone / account. It's best to buy an older used Boost branded CDMA phone, you can probably find one on ebay for about 20+ bucks depending on the model of phone. Look for Motorola C290, W385, and KRZR1...make sure esn is clear before purchasing it. If you do not want to go that route, you can purchase the new Boost CDMA phones (Sanyo Incognito or Samsung Rant).
Anyways, don't know if I can post all the steps on how to do it on here, but if you like, you can PM me, and I'll tell you how to do it. EDIT: If I get a few people asking on how to get the TP2 on Boost Mobile, I'll write up a guide on how to do it. If I helped you in any way, feel free to hit the "Thanks" button. |
