Delete cabs after installing them

I have been flashing roms for a while and never really thought about it, but am I allowed to delete the cabs from my storage after I install them? I usually install them to the device and I feel like it would save a bunch of memory if I deleted them after. Do you guys delete them after you install?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Delete cabs after installing them

You can delete the cabs, but I keep mine. If you have cabs you're not using, but may need in the future, dump them onto your pc. I have a bunch that I just leave on my sd card and can get the phone set up quickly after flashing, rather than having to search around for the cabs again, just in order to save a little space on my sd card.

Re: Delete cabs after installing them

You can delete the cab if you want to after you install it. but remember if you don't have it saved on your desktop if you delete it off your card than you are going to have to re download it if you flash it again. I just keep my cabs in a folder on my SD card. its only like 20 or 30 MB to keep them on the card for me, and with a 8GB card there is no sense in deleting them to me.

Re: Delete cabs after installing them

I keep them on my sd card in a folder called installed cabs. Makes for easier restoring. They dont eat up much space on my 16gb card.

Re: Delete cabs after installing them

i agree with storing them in your phone's external memory card. i have a whole bunch that i used a few months back but have since uninstalled from my phone. didn't want to delete them because i may use them again in the future. saves me from looking for them in the forum.
