I have been using one for a long time, maybe a year or so? I just went to a class 8 card, and only noticed a slight increase in speed. But be careful, some cards from eBay have been known to be only 2gb cards disguised as 16gb. I would load as much on it as possible and then see if it is still readable. Before doing anything permanent.
