Sync Music
 

I've been trying for a couple hours now to sync my music to my sd card using WMP. It keeps stopping after a couple albums. I'd just copy the files to the card, but I'm kind of OCD and like all the album info/art to be correct. Is there a better way to sync than WMP?

I have spent a lot of time with that, I have found that creating a playlist seems to be the best way to do this with WMP.

Windows Media Player encountered a problem while syncing the file to the portable device. This error can occur for a variety of reasons.
Things to try:

• Disconnect and reset the device. See your device's documentation for specific instructions about how to perform this procedure.
• Remove the file from the sync list or change the file's properties so that the file isn't hidden. In some cases, this error can occur if you try to sync a hidden file to a device.

Maybe I'll try a soft reset...

OK, I've got all my music on my card and it plays in WMP but the music tab won't find any of them. Any ideas?

Did you create a playlist or did you just drag and drop onto you phone?

Where you not able to see the music through the library button in Sense?

If you have several GB's of music the first time it may take a few minutes for it to populate.

I just drag them into the SD card & all my album/info show in both wmp & music tab :) even album art I created personly... as long as it is written to music files it will show...

in wmp try adding the files to library & then go into music tab...
