Verizon radio turning off and on by itself

I have had my touch pro 2 for a bit now and i noticed that it will randomly shut off the cellular radio and then turn it back on.. there are times where i have to press the hard key for the phone in order to make it do this cycle so i can call out or get calls in... earlier today i saw the radio go from 3g to 1x letting me know i was getting an incoming call but i couldnt answer it because the radio was resetting.. any thoughts on what i should do here?
