Skyfire and Function keys

Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone else is seeing this issue, in Skyfire 1.5.xxx I'm not able to use all the function keys on the slide out keyboard. Some of them are mis-mapped or not there at all. I've tried the Sprint keyboard fix for the energy rom I'm using (which is the latest) but no go. Every other program I've tried (opera, word, excel, notes, etc) works fine, only Skyfire seems to be affected. I've done a ton of searching on the forums and google'd it as well. Can't seem to find anyone else having the same issue. Just wanted to see if anyone experienced the same?
