Android is sounding better everyday and I don't like saying that.

no problem fellas. while android doesnt have "traditional" enterprise apps and no FULL exchange support yet, there are a lot of productivity tools that are actually better than some winmo counterparts as crazy as that sounds. while i will say the 50k apps in the android market is somewhat of a skewed number as there is a lot of bs in there, it has some really good software for business users also.

yes, wm is on its way out. kinda sucks, but after thinking about it.. the only reason i liked it was because i could create my own cabs, and mod it. but its not very reliable, fast, or stable when compared to Android or Iphone Os. Sorry just the facts.

interesting facts about the wp7 marketplace. for $99 a year devs can submit unlimited paid apps but ONLY 5 free apps. after 5 it will cost $19.99 for each additional free app submission. they are doing this to "cut down on junk apps"

Tough call... I see the idea behind it, but i think $20 is not going to deter many people from getting free apps submitted. $20 for getting your name out there on a quick-and-easy app is pretty cheap IMO.

What people don't understand about Microsoft is the amount of politics and undermining that goes on behind closed doors. They have morale issues as well as big egos who corrupt development within their brands. Microsoft develops products like Windows Mobile with the idea of changing and controlling the entire market place. Innovation is not possible because product managers destroy ideas at the highest levels. It's an unintended consequence that few people ever hear about at Microsoft.

Project Natal is what got Robbie Bach and J Allard fired. Of course the media heard they both retired. It's very difficult to innovate when billionaires are running the show.

WP7 is a spin off of the Zune software. That where they use words like "product synergy" and tying products together like the failed Zune with it's OLED screen that has terrible resolution but the ability to record 720p video that you cannot see on a 422x244 (resolution may be off a little) resolution.

I will say that I am quite happy with my TP2 after installing the cleanup cab. It's sad that volunteer programmers here at PPC Geeks can make a device loaded with bloatware and an underpowered CPU run quite well on 6.5
