I am not going to the EVO due to my plan i will not give it up and also Slingbox as well.BUT is there anything!!! new coming to replace the tp2? for sprint?? i see nothing about a new phone for us win mob users? anyone have a idea.?

For me the big one is the surveillance camera system I installed at my business does not have the software for Android. Other than that I'm ready to change especially after hearing what WM7 is going to be like.

understood, i have 2 programs for the work that i do that will NEVER be on android (signatures/handwriting recognition) but i have gotten used to carrying 2 devices no biggie for me.

and i didnt realize people watched that much tv on their phones. i would much rather read an ebook on my phone than watch television on it. everything on tv nowadays besides sports is pointless to me personally but seems important to you guys so it is worth waiting to jump ship. was digging around and read late july for slingbox but we all know how things can change.

Forgive me is this is an silly question. Can the Evo be unlocked and used on the Verizon network? Since they are both CDMA. I know Verizon does not have 4G yet but the evo also runs on 3G

I'm right with you on that one.

Obviously, that's not something everyone will care about but it's one of the first things I reinstall after flashing.

Sure, it will eventually work in Android but knowing how Sling's CS is I'm not holding my breath waiting for it.

Well I am officially on the EVO now...My wife is still using a TP2, and my 3rd line will get a TP2 so I will stil be around on occasion, but quite frankly the EVO rocks...

I jumped ship and never want to look back. My old TP2 looks like such an eyesore and so antiquated, next to my Evo. I'm still getting used to instantaneous responsiveness and transitions. There's no comparison. Peace out, WinMo!
