can sprint fix phone after rom update?
 

i got a touch pro 2 like a month or two ago and its been really laggy and slow ever since i got it so i updated the rom to sprint lovers rom cuz i figured it might help it but theres still a lot of lag problems so i was wonderin if i cud take it back to sprint to see if they could replace the phone or do i need to hard reset it to factory settings or anythin for them to change it

You have to put the stock rom back on there, and relock the phone, than return it to sprint...

Grab a stock ROM from the "CDMA Upgrades" section, then make sure to relock the phone using the relocker found in the same thread as the unlocker (also in "CDMA Upgrades")

First download the stock ROM,

a new phone probably is not going to fix your problem though.

what u mean? does all touch pro 2 freeze and lag all the time especially when tryin to go back to the home screen and tryin to switch from vertical and landscape with texts?

there seems to be lagging issues when using sprint's 6.5 rom with sense 2.5. especially for those people that have a lot of one thing (texts, emails, contacts, music).
Sense does it's thing by pulling the info from the phone and displaying it in those tabs. If you have a lot of data to pull, it causes the lagging and freezing issues most of the time.
Try disabling sense under the today screen settings and use it for a couple of days and see if it lags. If it does, then it could be hardware issue worthy of a sprint store visit.
