Overcharging battery?

i dont find it as........ necessary to over charge the oem battery as the seidio 3500 mah batteries.
ive never over charged a oem battery. i have over charged seidio batteries, but that wasnt buy charging the batteries threw the phone. both of the batteries were overcharged by the seidio battery only wall charger. the first time it was only on the wall charger for about 15 hours and the battery was only a few months old it also fried the wall charger and left the receptacle cover partially melted.
that is how i charge the batteries, when 1 goes dead i swap it with the other one on the wall charger. but im more hesitant on doing it now, i pay more attention to it.
