The battery life on my TP2 right now is amazing, but my last refurb replacement had problems. Even after hard resets it would lose 10% batt per hour. My new replacement stays full all day, even with heavy use/slacker radio and a fake battery from Hong Kong.
How did verizon determine that your refurb phone was draining the batt? im having the same probs

I'm on Sprint and I have insurance, so getting a new refurb phone was no problem. It's very possible that a software problem can drain yr battery. If you want to test it, first charge the battery completely, turn off all push email (set to manual download). Then, reset the phone and leave it unplugged overnight. If the battery is less than 70% by morning, you have a problem. When I tried this test before, I would have about 10% left (real bad!!)

With my new phone, I still have 100% by morning, even with my old battery.
