I agree with the title. I had about 4 Touch Pros and I've only had 1 tp2 so far since December)! I love this phone its sturdy and reliable. It does everything that I need it to do.

i love my touch pro2 recently though it dropped from the nightstand to the carpet, while plugged in

This totally messed up the miniUSB charger and USB detecting is all off now, It's hard to even flash because the connection breaks all the time

somehow the USB slot bent upwards when it fell, good thing i have insurance i guess? Would they be able to fix it for me?

Had this phone since release and have been happy with the build quality as opposed to the Touch Pro 1 which was a disheartening disappointment.(internal hardware failure)

Touch Pro2 though is my favorite phone I've ever owned

Im pretty sure theres gonna be a way to dual boot the Evo since the HD2 pretty much has the same specs. I give it two months or so. Still, no reason to get the new phone without interest right now. Pretty much, if big ass screen and 720p don't win you over, this phone isn't offering much.

I checked out the ally, its nice, but i don't see it being better than my TP2, but i havent seen it in person tho.

@dumpringz, 100bucks? you are one lucky dude lol

any phone that has 480x800 Resolution is capable of 720p (eg TP2,HD2 etc)

For those of us who travel internationally frequently the EVO is still not a viable option if we wish to only have one phone. For that purpose it will still be the best phone on the market for us CDMA users.

ok for every1 who hates on the TP2. ur all just jumping on the bandwagon. no 1 even knew what android was a year ago. now its screw windows its sucks and blah blah.... android is the best...blah blah i had a TP1 it could do so much at the time for a phone nothing could touch it and then we were dealing with iphone pozers thinkins cuz every1 has it it has to be the best. NOT. i had 4 TP1's before i got my TP2 the day it came out and still have that same phone with never having a problem and back then no crap android could touch it. so i just hate hearing people talk how much TP2's suck cuz there incrediable is so much better. just compare 2 new phones like a HD2 vs the incrediable and see who wins that. WINMO FORLIFE!

720p, meaning 720 horizontal scan lines of display resolution. 1280x720 would be 720p. The HD2 may be able to record video at that rate, but its display is not 720p (nor is any other 480x800 phone)

You can get your phone to play back 720p videos through certain techniques or by re-encoding the file, but it is not built into the software or hardware that comes with the tp2 (or HD2).
