Yeah, I'm having the same problem with this app the gps says always locating and doesn't do anything. I've changed the settings as a poster had stated and it didn't do anything.

some people in a different thread said they had better luck when it was installed to main memory. Do you have it on your storage card or main memory?

It is installed to the card on my Sprint TP2 running the stock 6.1 ROM, COM 4 and it works ok. I prefer the detail level Goggle provides and it lags a bit more than the previous release. I find the Sprint and Nav applications though to be more responsive. Traffic has yet to work here in Paradise.

just wondering if anyone could tell me of a retail GPS product that works well with the TP2? i did not want to post a new thread so i hope someone can assist. i plan on giving bing a try, but am hoping i can find something i can buy that is a little bit better on locating POIs... thanks in advance for the help..

Ok my bing is working now. I still have it stored to my storage card. Only things I did different was I went into quick gps and I downloaded that. I have no idea what that does and I also went into comm manager settings and turned off data connection and turned it back on. I went into bing and it finally locked onto a location for me. Who knows what if those things I did made it work but that's where Im at now.
