I suggest you download and flash the shipped rom for your carrier and flash it at least twice. Then clear storage. Then if you want to go back to a custom rom then do so. Use a utility like ClearTemp to help clean out Temporary files at least twice a week and use CleanRam when you want to close processes and free up ram to avoid soft resets if your device is running slow. WinMo has a learning curve but if you are smart enough it is still a powerful platform.

Re: Touch pro 2 Keeps freezing and becomes unusable, Please Help
I'm curious what flashing the original rom twice will do. I thought task29 deletes everything already. So far i haven't had any problems with this current flash, but if it starts doing that again I'll do your suggestion. I'm also looking into cleartemp.

you are right, i actually don't recommend flashing any other rom but the one you are going to use when you perform a task29. doing so defeats the whole purpose of performing the task29. t29 wipes the rom out of the phone, at this point, whatever rom you flash will be the only rom on that phone. if you flash a stock rom then a custom rom, you may leave remnants of the stock rom onto the new rom therefor completely defeating the purpose of t29 do t29 and then flash whichever rom you want to use, then perform a hard reset(this ensures everything from the flash went through). that's all |
