On the Verizon network, update your roaming software (*228, option 2, I believe). Then make a voice call to update your phone data connection. This cleared up connection problems with my weather app.

Good Idea breakfastchef, but it didnt work for me. I should have thought of that, but didnt.

And as for the other question someone posted if i was using conflipper, I am not, just using the stock weather updater. I have always kept it stock and wanted to leave it this way since it has never given me problems...that is till now

Hmm...I guess I should thank my lucky stars that my weather updates on sprint. :)
But, I'm using the regular manila 2.1 weather. I hope it keeps working. ;)

Well I just drove up to Palmdale, and my phone was updating all over EXCEPT when I went back home to San Diego, so obviously it must have something to do with the towers locally

I did uninstall Conflipper's weather server cab and everything started working and updating perfectly, THANKS

Horndoctor is right on. I noticed this and posted about it HERE a couple of weeks back. Conflipper's servers seemed to die around October 14 or 15. You'll have to re-populate your cities list (and recreate any special locations) after uninstalling, but you'll get regular updates.

Mine finally started working last night out of no where. Nothing was updated, or changed, it just started working. Must have been something with the san diego area
