Re: Htc Tp2 location problems
It says that either because a.) it can't get a GPS signal of where you are or b.) you did not run GPS update yet. Run GPS update then try again.
Also make sure you have the HTC location service turned on under the settings tab its an option at the bottom "location." You can also add cities manually without the need for a program just click Menu and Add cities under the weather tab. |

Re: Htc Tp2 location problems
Try updating the weather while your someplace else. For some reason, with both the stock VZW 6.5 and Mighty ROM, the weather won't update in my house, but if I do it while I'm driving away maybe a mile or two, it updates just fine.
Ohh and they program you're looking for is QuickGPS, not GPS update. Hope that helps. |

Re: Htc Tp2 location problems
For some reason, this program doesn't work with Mighty's latest ROMs. I believe it has something to do with the latest version (I believe 3.7) of .NET framework. I haven't found a program that works to add cities yet, but I'm confident if you try to update elsewhere it will find your city.
