Random Charges on Sprint bill

I checked my sprint bill today and it showed up with some random charges, does anyone know what these stand for?
Long Distance&Ten-Digit Intl.Toll 6 mins used = $2.94

Quite strange...

Re: Random Charges on Sprint bill

Join the club. My billing is absolutely incoherent, but the bottom line is generally lower than the competition. Almost always I get such items take off, if it is worth your time. Other issue is you may have inadventently activated the phone and dialed some crazy number in.... I have done this.

Re: Random Charges on Sprint bill

I think there is a way to tell sprint not to allow long distance calling...not sure, but I think it exists. Just FYI. This might keep this from happening again.

Wirelessly posted (Touch Pro 2: Opera/9.7 (WindowsMobile; PPC; Opera Mobi/35267; U; en; Presto/2.1.1))

Check your call history and if you installed that 3d anti terrorist game you should probably hard reset... it's a fake which installs a service that calls long distance in the middle of the night

Re: Random Charges on Sprint bill

Yes this happened on my TP2, I just wanted to see if anyone else had similar charges. If the answer to that is YES, then I figured I might find a solution to how or why it happens.

Well I always look at mine all the time too. I would call and complain, never hurts and most of the time it helps. But I would also do a hard reset.

Re: Random Charges on Sprint bill

did you look at your call log and see if an international call was made? if so and you didn't make it, chances are you got the malware that does that. best thing to do is hardreset your phone and install lookout mobile security or something similar.
matter of fact, install it first and see if it finds a virus.
https://www.mylookout.com/
I would go to the website and download the cab directly, so as not to transfer a virus if you have one to your computer, and see what happens.
It runs in the background and I haven't noticed any lag with it running.
