If you want more ring time before voicemail...

I recently spoke with an HTC Rep about this problem with the HTC phones. My HTC TP2 only rings 4 times before routing to voicemail. She said that if enough people called them with complaints and asked for more ring time that they would be able to write a fix and post it on their website for download.
Please call HTC and tell them that you would like more ring time on your HTC Touch Pro and TP2!! PLEASE!!

Oh...the number for HTC is 866-449-8358 7a - 1a EST 7 days per week.

Change the Slot Cycle Index

Go into EPST using ##778#

use you MSL and change the value to 1

theres your fix

I've tried a few different SCI settings, it never made any difference.

call your carrier they can add extra 30 sec ring time on their end.

Sorry to burst your bubble bud but this is not able to be done on the Sprint network. It is available on the iden side(nextel) but the CDMA network does not have this feature. By the way, SCI only changes the response time from the tower to your phone. It will still transfer the same amout of rings before going to VM.

this is true, the sci changes how frequently your phone polls the tower. the faster it polls the tower, the faster it rings when someone calls... this will make ur phone ring a few secs faster than normally, but in return you will have crappy battery life...
