Touch Pro 2 AV Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I am absolutely stuck and hoping one of you genuises out there may be able to offer some assistance. I just installed a new Car Stereo it is a VR3 VRVD640g, It has a 4 inch screen and what i thought to be a phono A/V inputs. I recieved my touch Pro 2 TV out cable and it works flawlessly on my big screen. Turns out the input for the stereo is 2, 3.5 mm female ports one for audio and one for video. My hope was to be able to watch my slingbox on my screen. Now heres what I have done to try to fix the problem (1) Searched Tirelessly for a video phono to 3.5 mm (3 ring video style) adaptor because the audio adaptor is easily found (2) i tried an ipod a/v cable using double female couplers and plugging the cable into the single video 3.5 port, this yielded a incredibly distorted picture and no sound. If anyone can help I am actually a sprint rep....so if there is anything you need I can try to hook you up.......Thank you all in advance for any assistance you can offer!

sorry bro, it slipped my mind. i have the cable you're talking about you need. it came with my portable dvd player, the 3 rca jacks on one end, has a black 3.5 and yellow 3.5 headset plug at the other end. my player is panasonic, maybe they or radio shack has the cable. (i run my videos just as you do from my tp2 to the dvd player using the female couplings, no picture or sound problems what-so-ever) i'll try to post a picture of the cable in a minute...

thanks a ton man I have been to best buy, radio shack and discount electronics....Non of them had anything like that....does the cable have a model number or anything so i might be able to just order one from panasonic

i tried to take a better pic, but the cords are pretty long lol! the top one is the htc tv out cable, the female connectors, and the cable you need. i have a sony, i forgot i took the panasonic back lol! it's a sony portable dvd player, model number dvp-fx810. check with radio shack, there's a good chance they have the cable.
