Sense 2.5 & Microsoft My Phone
 

Im on a sense 2.5 rom (mighty rom) and im noticing now after a hard reset when i sync with myphone it seems to have saved my whole contacts tab, and the favorite contacts....and maintained my facebook linked contacts is this correct? it seems to have saved them before i even logged into my fb account on the contacts tab?

edit: and it also saves my opera bookmarks

why is it able to do this on 2.5 but not 2.1?

From what I know, the 2.5 contact favorites add a comment in each of your favorite contacts, which tells the contacts tab to put those favorites in your contacts. Also, Opera is made to share bookmarks with IE in the latest 2.5, so when My Phone backs up the IE favorites, the Opera ones are backed up too.

didnt know that thanks wish this would have done the same thing in sense 2.1 this saves alot of time after a hard reset/flash

lead is exactly right, if you view your contacts in outlook or pocket outlook, on the notes page you will see htcs code that is stored and used by sense.
