16 GB Microsd Class 6 Cards For TP2

Im kinda searching for a new 16gb card hopefully a class 6 card for a decent price anybody caught any sales on these?

Generally i usually tend to use only sandisk cards, are the other types of cards any good like the A Data, Kingston, and other brands?

also i think the card i was previously using was a class 2 would i notice any difference in performance on the touch pro 2 between a class 2 and class 6 microsd card? or would i only notice the difference using the card on a computer?

Re: 16 GB Microsd Class 6 Cards For TP2

ive gone threw 3 sd cards in the last 6 months 2 lexar's and 1 pny, the lexars tell me to format after theyve been used for months and now won't work at all.
The pny works just the way it should. all were class 4's.
i ordered this 1 here in the link about 2 weeks ago and haven't used it yet.

there are other Threads discussing these Memory cards, here is 1 for you.

Re: 16 GB Microsd Class 6 Cards For TP2

i've been using an a-data class 6 for little over a month now, very happy with it. i don't know how it would compare to a class 2 though. my last card was an 8gig transcend class 6 which was also great.

Re: 16 GB Microsd Class 6 Cards For TP2

if I had $100 I would totally blow it on the Class 10 Kingston 16GB... i know some phones have issues with them (from reviews I have read) but an old friend of mine (client actually, and a photographer at that) told me his was the best $100 he spent on memory...

now i really want one

I have a class 2 16 gb card and from what i have read the card usually sees problems when using the class 2 alot in PCs but yes you will most likely only see the increase in performance when using the card with a pc (from what i have read)im bummed about you having a messed up sd since i own basically the same one.

Re: 16 GB Microsd Class 6 Cards For TP2

i really dont understand how mines just crapped out on me i never took it out the phone, i always use the phone as a usb but its cool tho i wanted to buy a class 6 card anyway because whenever i went thru my pictures in sense or music it would kind of thru them as im flipping thru them in sense....im able to save all my pics from the card and i already have most of my cabs and all my music backed up so everything is good jus gotta fork over the money for a new one

im jus skeptical about buyin one thats not made by sandisk ive never done that before lol

Re: 16 GB Microsd Class 6 Cards For TP2

I bought a class 6 16G RiDATA card for about $50.00 from NewEgg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820183245 back at the end of Dec and it has been working fine in my TP2 ever since.

I do think you have a point though about removing the card as to me these things are just to small to be heavy duty enough to be subjected to the man handling they might see in something that requires that which to me I would wager is the number one source of failures.
