The monthly data plan cost about the same as the phone itself. I am glad I am with sprint. My wife's sero plan cost $29.99 per month with unlimited data and 500 phone minutes.

The info on the site says it will be $29.99 with a new 2yr contract RENEWAL on voice plan with data. Otherwise, the price will be $79.99 with a new 2yr activation plan.

I just ordered my TP2 on Saturday (new every two). They sent it Monday, I got it today (Tuesday), saw this post, checked the site, confirmed the $29.99 price, called them to see if they would credit the difference and they said "No."

This sucks. $70 bucks lost.

Meanwhile my wifes line is not even eligible for an upgrade yet, but yet I can upgrade her line for this phone at the $29.99 price.
