The $29.99 is not a New Every Two price. I was pricing out an upgrade for my wifes Env 2 which is eligible for normal upgrade and that's the price it shows. New Every two is only for the primary account holder which would be my phone which I used mine to buy my TP2 when they first came out so I am not eligible for a new every two discount till 5/14/2011

I just ordered mine for $29.99. I'm not eligible for New Every Two until July 2010. However, I was still given a $50 credit for the upgrade over the new subscriber of $79.99. Thus, giving me a final purchase price of $29.99 plus tax. That's better than if I had waited til July, assuming the price returned to around $150. Now I need to find an extended battery. Verizon's already sold out of them. Besides, I'm sure there are better mAh capacities out there. Any suggestions?

Perhaps the $29.99 deal is only applicable to people living in certain areas since you have to enter your zip code when shopping for phones. It's not unheard of.

Mine says 79.99 until 4/8 in West Lafayette, IN

The pics seem legit though. I wouldnt put it past VZW to do that in only certain areas

I see 29.99 and i live in cleveland area.

I do have a corporate discount and dont know if that has anything to do with it.

I am not signed into my account and have cleared cookies. I am also showing 79.99. But I wouldn't be suprised if you have a corporate discount or New Every two being 29.99.
