no offense to u or those that love opera 5 but it sux ... i use my tp2 for 99% of my lifes web browsing & there are many issues that opera 5 has ... while it is fast i give u that, at times if i click a link it acts as if it wasnt. if i enter a long string of characters be it in a forum setting, facebook or whatever it either disappears after i click reply or b4 total p.i.t.a. i also cant copy or paste when i tap & hold the pop up screen with tthe options dontt stay unless i leave my finger pressing on the screen. also a p.i.t.a ... if ur running a version that dont do the 3 things i mentioned, didnt state all . please pass a cab along or name the build. ........ but back to the topic of the thread my opera closes itself alot & it will when its the only thing running. also a p.i.t.a

i think all the browsers have some quirks/problems, but opera mini 5 gives me the best overall function. i've surfed this forum and typed responses and thanked people. haven't tried to upload a file yet.
skyfire is slower to render and also sometimes, text boxes don't stay filled in. great for flash, or if you need a fullsize webpage.
opera mobile is slower than opera mini for me, but it is the default browser since it will let you click links from other sources and open them. also have it set as youtube.com as homepage since mini5 doesn't do youtube.
internet explorer has never impressed me, either mobile or desktop versions.
tried ucweb, not bad, but still not as fast as mini5. has a neat nightime feature that flips light and dark so text is white on black background.

did I miss any?

the opera 10 i tried was flat out horrible. skyfire seemed good except if running in the backround it caused the rest of my phone 2 lag .. that was with 6.1 stock ... i could only imagine what type of slug this device would move like with it & 6.5 ..... idk what ucweb is but i would be happiest with the version of 9.5 that came with my stock 6.1 as ive mentioned in many threads but idk what build it is

I'm using 6.5 build 23563 and loving it!!!

It's not just Opera that does this. All applications are closed at various times, so I'm sure it's the autokill that's not working properly. Sometimes Opera closes as soon as i return to the home screen, other times it stays open for 10 minutes or more, and same with other apps. Like i said, there's no indication that memory is being maxed out. There's at least 30 MB of memory available when it does this.
