had 2 of my pros due this the outer skin of the touch pad seperates from the bottom one and if you play with it it will come back on . if you check around the edge you will find a spot that you can actually lift the top away from the bottom. mine looks like water between 2 planes of glass verizon sent me new ones eash time but what happens after warrenty runs out.kept in leather case

Because the issue was not water damage, the issue is the phone has a defect, and mine was still under warranty but sprint/htc uses Assurion as a scape goat, and comes up with every excuse why they can't replace it.

Then says" If i were you, i would just file an insurance claim, thats why you pay for it. its faster and only will cost you 100 bucks". :angry7:

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but what is the deal with the case? I just bought a rubberized case for mine(just got it) and when it is on the screen does not respond. If I take it off, it works again. What is the deal with that? I would love to be able to use some type of protection on this phone... Will the case cause the rainbow banding issue?
