question about sprint win 6.5 upgrade
 

its been a while since i been here and finally noticed sprint/htc has released win 6.5. it's very active here so finding what i'm looking for is quite difficult! ;-)

i looked at the change log on HTC website to see what was changed/implemented, anyone care to post anything else they left out? such as things sprint might of disabled, etc..

also curious if the old hacks such as the modded IntShr.exe for tethering still works?

i plan to start releasing new stuff since i'm now getting back into my TP2, just been busy with work :)

The tethering works on vs 6.5.
At least the cab that I got off the HTC website for tethering works fine for me and a friend that I recommended it to. He just did an upgrade to 6.5 and it works for him also. I can do it via the usb cable or via wi-fi.

As you would expect from Sprint, it is quite unstable. It is however better then the original shipped rom.
I recommend the newest MightyRom.

Mike you wouldnt happen to know how to de select the weather under the clock on the tp2's homepage would you? I cant find an unselect tab to save my life!
I've only had the htc for sprint windows 6.5 on my phone for a few days so I cant really say how unstable it is...

I just picked up a Sprint Touch Pro 2 today, installed most of the programs from my old touch, and used a registry editor to do the internet share hack.

In the registry editor navigate to:

hklm/comm/internetsharing/settings and delete the forcecellconnection line.

Run the internet sharing app again and select the Sprint network to connect.

So far it is just as fast as my old Touch.

Internet connection stuff is easy, I just wish I could get DoomPDA to work properly with the keyboard. :)
