Not enjoying 6.5

Hi,

I upgraded to the 6.5 ROM last week or so and at first it was nice but now my phone runs like molasses and i would rather just go back to 6.1 and seeing how i do upwards of 7500 texts per month, im really not happy with how the phone freezes in the SMS screen. can someone give me laymans instructions on how to go back?

Which one do I use, I noticed there were 2 different versions for Sprint

Maybe ditch the crappy Sprint upgrade and go with a custom ROM like Energy or Mighty and your phone will not run like molasses. I am on the newest Energy ROM and the phone runs better than it ever did on 6.1

did you hard reset after going to 6.5?

I am new to this so lease excuse me but i havent a clue what Energy or Mighty is..or how to get it.. I did a soft reset, matter of fact ive done dozen of soft resets.. the interface color is nice but i like to be able to jump between programs quickly and now thats far from the case even if Opera is running and i hit the SMS button, i have to wait forever for it to come up and hope it doesnt freeze

Dude, if your new to custom ROMS dont do it unless you have two phones or until you're more comfortable with modding your ppc. If you think you hate 6.5 you're are definitely going to be pissed when you flash a custom ROM and have issues... (not to mention if you don't know what you're doing you'll brick the phone)

just like custom roms, after installation you hard reset, it clears some of the bugs out. try it and see what happens.

Yeah literally there is TWO Hardreset after putting on the updated 6.5.
Once to install it.
Second time after that to clear out the obsolete files that had to go somewhere after being replaced.

LOL, they don't "go" anywhere, they are wiped clean when you flash a ROM (it's like formatting your hard drive)
