To get 1% increments you usually have to install a new battery driver even if you install a custom taskbar or custom battery icon/guage.

but currently I am using the iss essentials one that came in a bundle for about 8.00 on handango:

it is the blue bar across the top, also came with that task manager, file explorer pro, registry editor, etc.

This is the one that I've been using for years.

However, it does not display in 1% increments.

after some initial volume control trouble I got this working (I think) and it looks great. However now I want more purty icons and taskbar goodness
