Free memory on sprint wm 6.5 touch pro 2
 

So has anyone figured out how to free memory on sprints new rom? I have tried all the proxy tweaks and nothing work :(

any ideas?

I would like to know this to. Before I flashed I was running anywhere between 37% and 42%. Now I am 64%. I also did try the proxy cab located here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=85996 and also tried this here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=88640. Did I miss something?:scratch: Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

yea i felt like the stock 6.1 rom was faster then 6.5 too

whoa, no sarcastic "what, do you think the OS shouldnt take any memory" lines yet?

I would like to know too, seems like this new combo lags and is generally using 20% more memory.

326 View's and not a single Idea! kinda hard to believe:angry7:...I will ask again.. Has anyone Found how to free up more memory or whatever it takes to speed it up?

Something is leaking memory like crazy. I hard reset just a couple of days ago, and when I soft reset I start with 70-80mb free, by the end of the day I'm lucky if I have 35mb free. I tried disabling various tabs in Sense and it does not appear to make any difference.

Turning off sense and switching to Titanium helps a lot, if you can deal with the Titanium interface.

All I can say....Sprint..."Epic Fail" on 6.5...strip it down, unbloat it....make it runable on the TP2. Plz!
