Need Help Plz with setting up email on official 6.5

Will someone please help me. i flashed sprint's official 6.5 rom and now it wont set up my email. I go to the email icon on manila but it wont work for some reason. If it helps i am trying to sync my hotmail account. So if you know will you plz help me. Thank you very much

are you choosing the other tab under mail? If so enter your email address @ whatever.com, password ect ect..

i am doing that but after i enter my email than password than save password it is opening opera and going to my email through that? I don't know why. Can you plz help

in my experience with touch pro and pro 2 i always had one chance to set up hotmail properly or it would go to opera/live everytime after and then you cant login properly ...only online (who wants to do that) thats why its the 1st thing i do when i get a new rom or hard reset...so i would hard reset and start over and let it be the 1st thing you do. i know you probably dont wanna hear that but it has to be the set up correctly the 1st time i even go extra slow lol. good luck.

no problem...hope you didnt load a ton of apps and have to reinstall them.

I originally ran into the same problem, but I think I went to start and chose the Windows Live icon which allowed me to set up my Windows Live account information. Sorry, I don't remember the exact steps during that process, but I think it was pretty intuitive. Once I was connected to the windows live service you can chose the Menu at the bottom right, then Options, then Sync Options, and check the Sync e-mail checkbox. Once I did that my hotmail account showed up in my mail accounts. I hope this works for you as well since I understand your frustration.
