Need Help Plz with setting up email on official 6.5

Will someone please help me. i flashed sprint's official 6.5 rom and now it wont set up my email. I go to the email icon on manila but it wont work for some reason. If it helps i am trying to sync my hotmail account. So if you know will you plz help me. Thank you very much
