Frankfort seems to be further within the state lines, plus it's the capital... However it seems Louisville is quite a bit more densely populated. Could you find me a map of suburban Louisville so I can match the county lines? If Louisville covers a helluvalot more area than Frankfort, then its more likely someone calling from that area code would be from Louisville. Quote:

Hehehe! You gotta know by now that us Aggies will act proud no matter what it is . At least we can agree on awesomeness of the wonderful state of Texas! (Imagine if I had put "Saw 'em Off, Texas" for Austin area codes... BAHAHAHA! Just kidding!)

Re: [NEW!]City AND State of Area Code on Incoming Call Screen
Louisville merged with the county so now Louisville is all of jefferson county, 383 sq miles, 713,877 population after merger. This is much larger than frankfort, KY city limits, 15 sq miles, 27,741 population.

Well that metropolitan area includes four indiana counties which I don't agree with counting. So I go with the county population.

Re: [NEW!]City AND State of Area Code on Incoming Call Screen
How can I resist complying with a request for something for an Aggie fan?
Here's a cab that will only overwrite the 979 area code to say "Aggieland, Texas (Gig 'em!)" NOTE: 1. You must have the cab in the first post installed first 2. You must install this cab again if you install an update from the first post |

EDIT: The below I can google - sorry! Actually, how do you edit xml files from cabs that we download? I probably need some sort of editor that isn't free, huh? Last edited by Tink; 03-24-2010 at 01:43 PM. Reason: Instructions |

Re: [NEW!]City AND State of Area Code on Incoming Call Screen
you should start a collection of "school chants" DB. So if someone from austin calls, it says HOOK EM or college station it says GIG EM. just an idea but it may be too exhaustive as there are tons of schools in each area code. I will edit my own!
