does hard reset really clear everything?

I installed certificates for my exchange server, but i think they mucked things up, and there were a lot of them, so I did a clear storage, came back, and they were still there.

Is that right?

Maybe try the holding down send/end and the power button while hitting the reset to do a hard reset that way? I would think that would be the sure fire way to make sure its gone!

(althought I would think the cert would have been wiped with just the clear storage...)

with the phone off... just hold send, end and power...wait this the screen says hit vol up then it will hard reset but if that doesnt work reflashing will completely clear everything..hope that helps

Oh sorry i thought you had some extra or unnecessary steps like taking off the cover and hitting the reset button...i also overlooked you telling him to start with the phone being off...i appologize.
