Text Notification after 6.5 upgrade..

Whenever i get a new text message the green light notification on my phone keeps flashing even though i already view and reply to the text message, usually after i reply to a new text message the light would stop flashing.. I now have to exit my text conversation and re enter it again for the light to stop flashing.. any help would be great...

I've also heard this before, Sense 2.5 bug. Haven't seen a fix yet.

hmmp If i remember correctly there was similar Bug with 6.1 where the text messages were not being marked as read.. anyways I am not running any customs roms this issue has arose from me upgrading to 6.5.. and i am afraid my battery will drain faster.. may be i should look for a registry to stop the green light from flashing completely...

I am not running Sense 2.5.. i happen to be using SPB shell 3.5

Downside to installing Mighty's fix on a Sprint Stock 6.5 rom is that keyboard backlight functionality is disabled, you must uninstall the cab and restart the phone to regain the kb backlight functionality when sliding it out...

at least this occurred on my tp2...

yea i agree after installing Myghty's fix all the lights are disable including the keyboard and charging light.. i think the issue here is with WM Messaging not recognizing that the new text msg has been view.. in 6.1 after u reply to the new text message the phone would stop alerting you..

Anyone have an idea on how we can fix this? I experience it too, have to go through previous text messages to get rid of the notification.
