HTC WiFi Router and Sprint 6.5 ROM

I went the extra mile and hard reset my phone and installed the cab you found and it did not work being that it was the only app installed from a clean hard reset. I hard reset again using the cab I found and it worked without a single problem. It would be nice to have the switch in the comm manager though.....any suggestions?

I figured this out myself actually. Turns out that when you have your wifi automatically connect to a preferred access point that it will keep WifiRouter from ever completing its connection which makes sense. So I had to go into advanced wireless settings and delete my access point settings so that WifiRouter could work without a problem. Both cabs work fine on the new Stock Sprint 6.5 ROM. The JD cab will add the switch to your comm manager which is pretty sweet!

props, this works perfectly......didnt place it on the comm manager but it placed it with the programs

The Post#13 from original xda thread works & installs a WiFiSharing icon which puts in the Start menu as a program.
It doesn't disturb your Comm Manager as the one in the 1st post here.

Tested it last night & the 1st thing you do is setup a SSID & WEP key - ie ID/PW - for your new 'router' & select RSK 'start'.

Make sure you're NOT hooked up to your laptop via any usb cable.

Search for available wireless networks on your laptop & connect.
BAM - wireless broadband to your laptop.

This is what the HTC interface looks like except that I have Sprint as the carrier vs TMob in that last picture @ the bottom.
